How to produce the 10000tons per year liquid fertilizer from the biogas slurry? Below are our processes and machines recommend based on this client.

1.Biogas slurry Receiving and storing

Machines recommended: Liquid collection and equalization tank or pool, Volume:30m3, with a 10mm grid net at the entrance to screen long-fiber debris.

2.48-hour settling (solid-liquid separation)

Four settling pools are equipped with a daily output of one pool of clear liquid, Which can reach a 24-hour cycle. Each settling tank’s volume is 30m³, The pool is constructed of reinforced concrete with an epoxy coating or HDPE lining on the inner wall, and also have a floating water sampler to pull the clearest surface liquid and a bottom drain valve/pump to periodically discharge sludge to the compost area

3.Buffering and regulation

We recommend to use a 3m3 stainless steel buffer tank. This tank have a low-speed paddle to prevent the sedimentation of extremely fine particles to ensure uniform concentration. It also has a liquid level control function to enable the sedimentation tank pump to start replenishing liquid at low levels and stop pumping at high levels.

4.Filtration in precision

We recommend using a rotary vibrating screen + bag filter for two-stage filtration to ensure clarity.

5.Filtered liquid buffer storage

Using a stainless steel 304 liquid storage tank with blending, it can provide a buffer process between filtration and heating sterilization tanks, to ensure the continuous feeding to the sterilization section.

6.Heating,sterilization and cooling (integrated design)

We use our company’s stainless steel jacketed integrated heating/cooling tank. You can use steam/hot water through the jacket or electric heating rods for the heating. which can increase temperature from 20℃ to 70℃ in 30 minutes; and keep 1 hour at 70℃ for the sterilizaiton;

Then inject and circulate the cooling water through the jacket to cool from 70℃ to 35℃ in 45 minutes or you can cool it by itself. But if you cool it itself it will take around 6-8 hours.

This is the key factor during the whole production process.

7.Nutrient blending(Nutritional balance)

Using a 3m3 stainless steel mixing tank, the tank has the paddle stirring with a frequency speed of 60-120 rpm, and has a metering pump or weighing scale to control the amount of trace elements accurately

8.Liquid fertilizer storage and filling

Recommend to use two 10m3 PE tank or stainless tank to stock the balanced or formulated liquid fertilizer, then fill into different size bottles or buckets.

9.PLC controller each process

The PLC include function: automatic on/off of the setting tank pump, filtration process operating, automatic sterilization temperature curve (heating → heat preservation → cooling), mixing/metering of the mixing tank, alarms for all liquid levels and temperatures, and control of level gauges, temperature sensors, and pressure gauges.
